From 29/11/2019, Dak Lak Cooperative in collaboration with CDI to present 10 booths of VietFarm products in Agricultural Products Exhibition OCOP of Tay Nguyen provinces.
In addition to cooperatives of Dak Lak province, VietFarm booths include Yen Chau purple garlic, Muong Do teas (Son Tra bio tea), Dak Dam Thuan An coffee, Eakmet, Cau Dat coffee (Lam Dong province), Tia Sang passion fruits (Dak Nong), Binh Tien peper (Dak Nong). There are other products certified VietGap, FairTrade in the exhibition as well.
By the seminar, cooperative delegates have discussed and exchanged experience, concerns and challenges in developing safe agricultural products according to systems of agricultura standards. They were talking about the necessity of cooperation in the process. Representatives of ANDPRO JSC and CDI have guided procedure for traceability registration, VietFarm standards for the cooperatives as reference in application. With the financial support of the Irish Development Agency (IA), VietFarm program is oriented to develop agricultural products towards sustainability which is friendly to environment, producers and consumers as well. The set of standards is set up combined national and international standards, focusing on product quality to meet the needs of demanding markets.
The exhibition of clean agricultural products is introduced to customers till 3.12.2019. This is an accasion for cooperatives to expand consumerism markets, to find commercial cooperation in production and sale in order to add more value to the products.
