Launching WE CHECK – an application to support employees to self-assess working conditions & take care of occupational health

Within the framework of the project “Promoting the rights and voice of migrant workers, especially female workers, towards ensuring social security and better working conditions in Bac Ninh and Hai Duong” in the period 2017 – 2021 sponsored by Oxfam, the Center for Development and Integration (CDI) has built and developed the WE CHECK application with the aim to support workers in general and especially employees working in the electricity and textile industries in particular, can self-assess their working conditions and take care of their occupational health.

WE CHECK is a completely free and safe application for workers.

The app has 5 main features:

(1) Working Conditions Feature: Provide a toolkit to help employees self-assess their working conditions, identify, and monitor working conditions problems. After each assessment, the application will give suggestions for employees to actively seek various supports to improve working conditions better.

(2) Occupational Health Feature: Support employees to self-assess their own health, monitor and detect health changes during work. Through the application suggestions given, employees can actively seek different solutions to protect, restore and improve their health and working capacity.

(3) Consultancy Feature – Q&A: Send questions and receive advice and answers on Labor Law, Occupational health care.

(4) New and Hot Feature: Update the latest and most useful news related to the field of labor and employment.

(5) Exercise Guide Feature: Guide simple exercises, easy to perform but effective, contributing to improving health.

The application is in beta. Currently, the application has been successfully posted at the CH Play store, compatible with smart mobile devices using Android operating system with Internet connection via 3G, 4G or Wifi.

With a simple design interface, friendly interactive screen, just performing a few simple steps, employees can experience all the benefits that the application can bring.
