SUSTAINABLE GREEN AGRICULTURE COURSE CAME TO A CLOSURE IN SON LA
Good news for smallholders and agricultural startups!
The training course on Sustainable Green Agriculture in Moc Chau, Son La, organized by CDI, has just ended on February 12, 2023, after three months of implementation, to provide knowledge on sustainable farming techniques, organic, and methods of converting non-organic to organic agriculture.
With the desire to create high-quality agricultural products, ensure food safety, protect the environment, and protect workers as production households, this course has provided students with knowledge of farming methods that do not use chemical pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and other harmful chemicals. Instead, trainees were taught to use organic farming methods, including enhancing biomass and beneficial microorganisms, using organic fertilizers, and other methods that help protect the environment.
The course also focuses on the method of converting non-organic to organic agriculture. The trainees were taught how to transition from using chemical fertilizers and pesticides to using organic fertilizers and safe organic pesticides and how to grow Cultivated by organic methods to achieve high efficiency.
CDI’s Sustainable Green Agriculture training course has succeeded in helping trainees acquire important knowledge relevant to current agricultural production practices. It hopes that the trainees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to create safe and sustainable agricultural products while helping increase product value and improve living conditions for farmers and local communities.

The course also created a great learning environment, allowing participants to exchange, share experiences and learn from each other. Participants also visited local, sustainable agricultural models and learned how to apply them. This practice helps the trainees make a breakthrough in their agricultural production and contribute to the development of the local community.

The Sustainable Green Agriculture training program is under the VietFarm Standards project built by the Center for Development and Integration (CDI) in collaboration with Green Fair Manufacturing and Trading Company Limited (GFT) and the Vietnam Standards and Quality Institute (VSQI), the international organization Vectra International and others, supported by Irish Aid. The project aims to build an alliance with the VietFarm community, linking small and medium producers in Vietnam to build credibility with domestic and international customers and consumers.
