Access of workers, both in formal and informal sectors, to advice and information on their’ rights remains limited and the support services to meet their needs remain inadequate. TAF has partnered with a number of Vietnamese organizations to provide legal aid and protection for migrant workers in both formal and informal sector in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. TAF would like to collaborate with CDI in this project “Knowledge is Power: Re-energizing the Public Discourse on Labor Relations in Vietnam“, which build on and expands upon the existing CDI activities for further reach and impact for workers and migrants both in formal and informal sectors
Specific objective 1: Improve the quality and reach of labor rights information and legal aid provision to workers
Activity1.1: Develop and promote a national online labor rights portal for workers
Activity 1.2: Extend current online legal aid to more workers, particularly migrant workers.
Specific objective 2: Broaden the dialogue on labor rights through the voices of workers and innovative local solutions.
Activity 2.1: Bring the voices of workers on their labor rights into the public area
